Stacy W. Hastie
Mr. Hastie is the owner of Environmental Operations, Inc. His responsibilities include the management of all corporate affairs and business development. In addition, Mr. Hastie actively participates in the management and coordination of high profile and complex environmental projects.
Mr. Hastie’s environmental experience began in 1989 as an air sampling technician for an environmental consulting company at a chemical manufacturing plant. In 1992 Environmental Operations, Inc. hired Mr. Hastie to spearhead the startup of the new safety management and industrial hygiene division. This successful new division provided the following consulting services:
- Asbestos/lead management and air monitoring
- Safety program development
- Employee safety training
- Personal exposure monitoring
- Indoor air quality investigation
In 1997, Mr. Hastie was a member of an investment group that purchased the company, and, in November 2002, he completed a buyout of the investment group, becoming the principal owner of Environmental Operations, Inc.

Mr. Hastie’s environmental experience has grown to include partnerships in a number of significant property development projects. His development participation includes the management and determination of cost-effective alternatives for high-profile and large environmental/demolition projects. Mr. Hastie’s understanding of the construction and financing aspects of real estate development enables him to develop cost-effective remedial solutions for environmental liabilities encountered during real estate transactions.
