Experience: Mr. Garuccio possesses over 20 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, security and quality regulatory compliance and industrial hygiene. He is responsible for quality assurance/quality control, proposals, cost estimating, and allocation of technical resources for the Industrial Hygiene and Safety department. Prior to joining Environmental Operations, Mr. Garuccio was employed by a major agribusiness corporation for the first 23 years of his career, initially as a plant engineer in edible oils processing and manufacturing facilities, and then as a regulatory compliance manager (overseeing environmental, health, safety, quality, and security) for the river transportation division. He also assumed roles overseeing environmental, health, and safety for a bulk/liquid trans-loading facility and for an industrial coatings contractor. The former allowed him to gain experience in the marine terminals and rail transportation sectors, while the latter helped him become knowledgeable in the regulatory arena of construction.
