Due Diligence Project Mangager

Responsibilities:

 

Managing ESA Inspections and Reports in compliance with regulatory standards. This work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Coordinate with client and any associated parties for site inspection activities;
  • Utilizing site observation, regulatory and historical data, site interviews and previous inspections to determine potential recognized environmental conditions associated with the site, in compliance with ASTM standards;
  • Compiling documentation, notes, and reports on special safety or environmental concerns;
  • Collaborating with team members to obtain the appropriate documentation necessary to complete the ESA;
  • Building relationships with external stakeholders (County and City Governments, State Agencies, National (EPA), Realtors, Environmental Lawyers and Consultants, Developers);
  • Ongoing communication with client updating them on progress of the assessment and any potential issues that arise;
  • Preparation of final report with executive summary and recommendations to the client; 
  • Coordinating with Phase II and Environmental Health and Safety departments to address potential recommendations made in the ESA report.

 

Qualifications:

 

The following education, skills, and experience are required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related, required;
  • 3-5 or more years in environmental consulting conducting as a Phase I ESAs preferred;
  • Current HAZWOPER and ACM Inspectors Licensure preferred;
  • Current valid driver’s license;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Regulatory Agency experience, preferred;
  • Ability to travel overnight approximately 35% of the time.
