Responsibilities:
Managing ESA Inspections and Reports in compliance with regulatory standards. This work may include, but is not limited to:
- Coordinate with client and any associated parties for site inspection activities;
- Utilizing site observation, regulatory and historical data, site interviews and previous inspections to determine potential recognized environmental conditions associated with the site, in compliance with ASTM standards;
- Compiling documentation, notes, and reports on special safety or environmental concerns;
- Collaborating with team members to obtain the appropriate documentation necessary to complete the ESA;
- Building relationships with external stakeholders (County and City Governments, State Agencies, National (EPA), Realtors, Environmental Lawyers and Consultants, Developers);
- Ongoing communication with client updating them on progress of the assessment and any potential issues that arise;
- Preparation of final report with executive summary and recommendations to the client;
- Coordinating with Phase II and Environmental Health and Safety departments to address potential recommendations made in the ESA report.
Qualifications:
The following education, skills, and experience are required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related, required;
- 3-5 or more years in environmental consulting conducting as a Phase I ESAs preferred;
- Current HAZWOPER and ACM Inspectors Licensure preferred;
- Current valid driver’s license;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Regulatory Agency experience, preferred;
- Ability to travel overnight approximately 35% of the time.
